This Thanksgiving at The Summit Church, we’re providing opportunities for you to make a larger impact in our community and around the world. We’re partnering with Meals on Wheels and One Good Meal to provide and deliver Thanksgiving groceries to those in need right here in Lee’s Summit. Another opportunity we have is partnering with Rise Against Hunger to package dehydrated meals for those around the world in impoverished nations.

Thanksgiving Grocery Delivery | November 17
You can help package or deliver free Thanksgiving groceries for families in Lee’s Summit on Saturday, November 17 from 9am-12pm. The groceries will include a turkey (or turkey breast, depending on family size), veggies, mashed potatoes and more! It’s a great opportunity not only to meet the needs of people, but deliver the groceries right to their door- creating a personal interaction with each individual or family.

Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging | November 22
Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030. Register below to help package dehydrated meals for people in impoverished nations around the world. We’ll be packing the meals at The Summit Church on Thanksgiving Day from 9am-11am. You can help show a little love to our first responders, like firemen and police officers this Thanksgiving! We’ll be delivering some delicious pies just for them on Saturday, November 17.
