Serve in the Community
We believe that God's people can be His hands and feet in the world. We like to provide opportunities for you to find a place to serve others and make a difference. Throughout the year we have several community service projects and events that you can get involved in.
Feed the need
Feed The Need is an annual dinner and auction which helps raise funds to help fight hunger, homelessness and poverty in Lee's Summit and beyond.
Summit lunch program
The Summit Lunch Program prepares and delivers nutritional lunches to kids in the Lee's Summit community during the summer break. Volunteer sign-ups will be coming this spring!
ONE Week is a week of service opportunities for you to make a difference right here in the Lee's Summit community.
Thanksgiving Dinner Delivery
Each year on Thanksgiving Day, a team of people help deliver free, hot meals to people in Lee's Summit who may not have one otherwise.
Compassion Project is an annual project to adopt a child or a family from Lee's Summit Elementary, Crittenton Children's Center or Hillcrest Transitional Housing to help make Christmas a little brighter by providing Christmas gifts.
